Dear Friends,
It’s been a challenging year thus far in the Real Estate world but there are still many opportunities and many things to be grateful for. Sometimes I catch myself moving so fast that I forget to slow down and just be. Yesterday after a long day I went to my friends house to eat dinner and go for a swim. Right before that I got a call from my Mother that my Uncle, her little brother, just got rushed to the emergency room because his stage 3 cancer has begun to spread to his head. When I got that call it took the wind out of me. It also made me slow down and appreciate the family, friends and life lessons I have learned so far on my journey. I can’t imagine what my Grandmother and Grandfather are going through right now knowing that there youngest child is suffering in a hospital bed, battling one of the worst diseases known to man. My Uncle also has a fiance, 2 kids and 1 brother, 2 sisters and many friends that are all sad to see him go through so much pain. My uncle is a fighter though and I believe he will recover from this. Please pray for him that he gets better soon. I’m 26 years young and I don’t have life all figured out, but I do encourage you to do this. SLOW DOWN! Take your time. Tell your family and friends how blessed you are and tell them how much you love them. Don’t sweat the small stuff and keep your head up. This economy sucks, but you’re not living in a 3rd world country and if you are reading this then your doing a whole lot better than my Uncle is in his hospital bed. I love you Uncle Geoff. Keep on fighting!
